High Knife was created by Georgiana Weddington of New York who has spent over 15 years designing both residential staging and commercial sets. The idea for the High Knife was inspired by the alcohol Prohibition. Shortly after the Prohibition ended in 1933 American artists began to incorporate high end designs in cocktail shakers, glasses, and bar accessories. Georgiana is mimicking this trend for the similar prohibition occurring in the 21st century from smoking.
